If we have a family event and my friend asked me if I could come over to her house on the same night I should pick to go to the family event because that was scheduled before the friend asked if I could go ever to her house. I think that is what God would want me to do. I have been in that situation before. You always need to be there for your family if someone is going through a hard time or even if they are just getting together. If I am having a hard  time understanding something I usually ask a friend or teacher. I am glad that others use this gift to. I use the gift of wisdom by seeing the good in other people. Even when it is hard too like after they might have hurt my feelings I try to find the good in them, not the bad. I also recognize the real value of things that I have. I take care of them and respect them because I am lucky to have them. The poor can not afford some of the things I have like water and food so I use my things respectfully.
